Remember the MOMologues? Need an idea for Mother’s Day? Maybe for Mother’s Day you can get a night out with fellow mom friends? If so, don’t miss MOMologues: The Original Comedy About Motherhood coming to Columbus for one night only – Friday, May 11, 2012. 100% of the show’s proceeds benefit POEM: Perinatal Outreach and Encourgement for Moms.
The comedy has the same set up as the Vagina Monologues, in that it highlights four moms telling a story and they banter back and forth. From reading reviews and part of the script, you’ll either be laughing or crying as the women touch upon subjects such as infertility, postpartum depression, or even how crazy it can be as a stay-at-home mom overseeing your child’s “social” schedule. Check out a snippet from the Boston show here: MOMologues: The Original Comedy About Motherhood.
This show was written by moms for moms. Take a look at last year’s write up: Momologues 2011.
