MOMologues is back for its third season in Columbus, OH! Charming, witty, pulls at your heartstrings – stories will be shared that focus on motherhood and all the craziness it can encompass. The show benefits POEM, which is an organization that helps mothers who struggle with post-partum depression or other related mental health issues, the most common complication of pregnancy. The MOMologues benefit show supports the POEM (Perinatal Outreach and Encouragement for Moms) Program of Mental Health America of Franklin County. POEM is the only program of its kind in Ohio for mothers and families at risk for or experiencing pregnancy and postpartum depression (PPD), adjustment difficulties, and other maternal mental health issues. POEM is the state of Ohio coordinator for Postpartum Support International, the world’s largest non-profit organization dedicated to helping women suffering from perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, including postpartum depression, the most common complication of childbirth.
