Still working on your summer agenda for the kiddies? Plan some fun movie-watching! The following theaters are offering summer movies for children at deeply discounted prices. Check out their websites for movie choices, times and locations:
Cinemark’s Summer Movie Clubhouse: 10 films for $5 or $1 per show, all films rated G or PG. They are playing 10 films for kids this summer.
Gateway Film Center’s From Book to Film: Admission is free with a library card, all films rated G or PG. Read the book before you see the movie! They have all the movies listed so you have plenty of time to check them out.
Studio 35’s Summer Kids Series: Admission is $2/person, all films rated G or PG. They only have one movie listed at this time, but keep checking back.
CAPA Summer Movie Series at the Ohio Theater: Strips of 10 tickets are $25, a savings of $1.50 per ticket off day-of-show prices. Go see a movie at the historical Ohio Theater, and for many of the movies they will have an organist! There are a number of movies I saw listed that would be good for kids, such as “Mary Poppins” and “Cartoon Capers.” I love Danny Kaye’s movies and think “The Court Jester” would be a great black and white for kids.
