Disney has always been a love of mine – particularly Pooh and Piglet, and I can’t lie, I’ve binged Disney movies by myself. Then, when I had kids I had an excuse to binge them…over and over again. Eventually, the movies get old and you need a new form in which to enjoy a nice fairy tale. Luckily, Ballet Met and Disney On Ice have two shows coming up that adults and kids will enjoy. Take a look :
BalletMet Presents Cinderella
BalletMet presents Cinderella. The costuming alone makes me want to see this show. Not to mention – BalletMet’s dancers are exquisite, and I feel so lucky to have a company like them in Columbus. Ballet performances are so beautiful to watch, and mixing in a familiar story helps young ones begin to appreciate the dancers and their talents and abilities. Cinderella perfomances are Friday, April 12 – Sunday, April 14 at the Ohio Theater.
Disney On Ice Presents Frozen
Then, a completely different show that young ones will probably flip over – Disney On Ice Presents Frozen. Seriously, that song? “Let it Go!” I STILL hear kids singing that song…in middle school!
Disney On Ice presents Frozen visits Columbus from April 17-23 for eight performances at the Schottenstein Center. Show times are: Wednesday, April 17, 7 p.m.; Thursday, April 18, 7 p.m.; Friday, April 19, 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.; Saturday, April 20, 11 a.m., 3 p.m., and 7 p.m.; and Sunday, April 21, 3 p.m. Tickets for Disney On Ice Presents Frozen start at $15.
